The current Board of Management of Stretton Park Hostel Inc. is made up the following members:

Phillip Clifford

Phillip Clifford, Chair

Retired Food Safety Auditor. Formerly worked in Local Government as qualified Public Health Practitioner and qualified accountant in finance/management. Current member of Maffra Lions Club, Trustee of Maffra Cemetery Trust and Treasurer of Maffra Vigilance Society. Former Board Member of Maffra District Hospital.

Appointed to the Board in 2004.

Helen Montague

Helen Montague, Vice Chair

Community Emergency Recovery Officer with Wellington Shire Council. Former Division 1 nurse involved with District and Palliative Care Nursing. Current leadership roles with many local community organisations.

Appointed to the Board in 2005.

Patricia Gray

Patricia Gray, Treasurer

A local since 1959, Pat has operated a dairy farm and grown beef cattle in the Maffra area. Prior to that time, Pat worked in Melbourne at the Australian Taxation Office and studied accountancy before moving on to work for an accounting practice in Collins Street. She later left the workforce to raise a family, eventually returning to work part time for a local solicitor and accountant before moving to work in Sale for Phillipsons where she stayed for over 20 years, finally retiring in 2003.

Kathy Crooke

Kathy Crooke

Trained as a division one nurse with midwifery and maternal and child health certificates. Since living in Gippsland, Kathy has worked at Maffra Hospital, then with local government in community services. She has lectured at TAFE in aged care and spent a lifetime of active involvement in agriculture.

Lindsay Wigg

Lindsay Wigg

Born in Maffra, Lindsay spent his early years in Maffra and Sale, attending school locally. In the past 45 years he has been in real estate, property management, development and investment.

He is currently a director of four real estate companies in Gippsland. His personal interests are beef cattle breeding, Maffra Lions Club (of which he has been a past president and recipient of the Centenary Medal for services to the Lions Club), he also enjoys travelling. Lindsay has been a board member at Stretton Park for the past 14 years.

Louise Rys

Louise Rys

Retired. Long term previous employment involved management of Government-funded programs for rural communities. Experience in Corporate Governance. Partner in successful family business. Has had significant personal involvement with aged care facilities, which has led to her involvement with, and appreciation for, Stretton Park.

Russell Macqueen

Russell Macqueen

Semi-retired Anglican archdeacon, rector of Maffra from 1997 to 2011 and archdeacon of East Gippsland. Police Chaplain from 1987 and currently working as a casual for the Royal Flying Doctor's Victoria as a non-emergency paramedic. Loves to swim, walk, play golf and garden. Main interest is the pastoral care of people.

Terry Donahoe

Terry Donahoe

Managing Director of a Project Management Consultancy specialising in Corporate Crisis and Emergency Plans, OH&S, Environment, Security and Heritage, working principally in the Energy Industry in Australia, PNG and SE Asia.

Appointed to the Board in 2014.

Nick Munro

Having grown up in Maffra, Nick has worked for over 20 years as an Accountant in large Corporations in Melbourne & Singapore. Returning to Maffra to give his sons the same opportunity to grow up in the clean country air, Nick now works in Public Practice as a Tax Accountant.

Sue Lawrence

Sue Lawrence

Practice and Client Service Manager for Professional Money Management. Has been working in the Financial Services Industry for 30 years, specialising in Retirement Planning and Centrelink Age pensions.
